By installing or using the eBike Sync application (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable law or by the open-source licenses listed in the App’s “Open source licenses” screen.
The App offers a 20-day free trial of the paid features. The trial starts when you opt in, not when you install the App. During the trial you can cancel at any time without being charged.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically every year at the price displayed in the App at the moment of purchase. Payment is charged through your Google Play or App Store account.
You can cancel the subscription at any time:
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the current period. No prorated refund is issued by us; refunds for billing errors are handled by Google Play / Apple.
The App reads data from your e-bike for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the displayed values. Do not rely on the App for safety-critical decisions (battery range, motor temperature, etc.). Always defer to your bike’s official display and your manufacturer’s recommendations.
The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to: bike malfunction, accidents, lost data, service interruptions, or third-party service failures (Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, Firebase).
The App communicates with e-bike meters using publicly observed BLE protocols. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Yamaha, Giant, Liv, or any other bike manufacturer. Connecting to your bike does not affect your manufacturer’s warranty in our experience, but you use the App at your own risk.
We may suspend or terminate your access to paid features in case of fraud, abuse, or chargeback. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the App. Your continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of France, except where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
